Dairy cattle are purchased from jails and public prisons, although it is not uncommon for families to sell their members or even volunteers to be accepted. After a few years, this type of animal exhausts its production capacity, its balls no longer produce milk of the desired quality or quantity. Then they are castrated and after a few years of fattening and detoxification they can be slaughtered for meat production.
